There are daily wear disposable lenses that you change out on a daily basis, allowing you to wear a fresh pair every day; regular daily wear lenses that are put in every morning and taken out at night then cleaned and rinsed, and replaced with a new pair every two weeks; and flexible wear lenses that are worn continuously for seven days and six nights then discarded and replaced with a new pair.

According to the company literature, children as young as the age of eight can be taught to use contact lenses correctly, and even babies have been fitted because of certain eye disorders warranting the use of contact lenses.
